Last night, it was very Christmasy around here, while I made my favorite Christmas cookies and Joe finished putting together a puzzle (Rosie the Riveter by Norman Rockwell!).  I have made these cookies for three years now, and always have sent them to work with Joe.  They're good stuff, so I thought I would share the recipe and my tips with all of you!

Christmas Ice Skates

 Hello All and Merry Christmas!

We just had some snow come down last night, so it's looking a little more like Christmas up here.  As promised, I have a Christmas craft to show you, one that I had a lot of fun with for the store.
I got the idea from my Mom, who saw it in a catalog last year (thanks, Mom!).  I thought it would be a fun thing to have in the store, so I went out and gathered ice skates and greenery galore.  All you need for one is:

Merry Christmas Wreath

Merry Christmas Everyone!  Around here, it's been Christmas time for a while now, but I thought I would put up a post about a simple, inexpensive way to bring in some sparkly shiny Christmasy fun.

In about, mmm, October I think, I made this wreath.  I found all the different pieces for it at the thrift store, and the total cost was under $8.  Can't get much better than that!
