Doodlings #1

Did you notice anything different when you got here? Look carefully and you'll see something very exciting, and long overdue.
YES!  I finally got some links up for archived posts!  Now you, my dear readers, can find my old posts and projects by clicking on the links below the header.  If you're in the mood to see a painted dresser, just click on "Furniture."  If you're in a bouncy mood and want to throw some staples, check out "Upholstery"!  Hopefully now it'll be easier to find things.  Even I had a hard time getting to some of my old posts, and I wrote them!  So click away little birdies, click away.
"Doodlings"
This is the first post of a series that I will continue in no particular schedule.  They are posts that have no point except to show you pretty pictures of things I like!  I will call them "Doodlings" and number them all, so those of you who follow regularly will know what's coming your way!  They will then be filed away in the "Miscellaneous Doodlings" archive so you can drool over them whenever you want.

Boy have a lot of things happened in the last week.  Joe and I had a great weekend with my parents who came up from Iowa--we had a blast.  Oh, and they brought their dog, Sam.  I wouldn't mention it, except then my Dad would say I was being mean to my "little brother."  Hmmm.  I've been replaced by a shih tzu.
Also, from last week's post, "L" is officially awesome.  Remember that I was coveting her baby crowbar?
Well, look what she gave me last Sunday!!  Not only a baby crowbar, but also another pry bar and a small air hose--it doesn't get tangled.  Magic.   Like I said,
Officially.  Awesome.
Thanks, "L"!
Well anyway, I was working in the store last week and there were so many fun things that I just had to take some pictures to share with you.  So here are some items that were in the store last week that caught my eye.  Were some of them mine?  Well, yes.  There are some things in the store that I wouldn't mind bringing home with me :)  Here are some of my in-store favorites.
Small Vintage Metal Tray
Guess who is the talented artist of this picture?  MY MOM!
Yes, her photography is awesome, and it's for sale in the store.  So fun.
Decanter & Glass Set
Vintage Cast Iron Tape Dispenser
I love these little vases!
Adorable Metal Hanger/Dish
Joe is lovin' these mid-century lithographs.  They're pretty awesome, and in their original frames.
Cutie Corner:  This adorable little mirror and plaque are so sweet.
There you go, hope that cheered up your Thursday!!
Have a wonderful Resurrection Day, a day to remember the sacrifice Christ made for us and celebrate the hope we now have.

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
